A Tedder Village Experience add's to the Goldie Experience!
"The Tedder Villager" is our Village connector and communicator, it is engulfed in a culture of constant Evolution, capturing and projecting the Opportunities, Experiences and Village Vibe. Tedder Village is an attractive international enclave and a vital cog in the Gold Coast Experience. The email magazine and the Village Hub www.teddervillage.com.au will evolve into what we Villagers need and aspire to.
Happy Villagers - Happy Village - Happy BIZ Villagers! HAPPY WORLD!
So Simple is So good!
Simplification is my most complicated challenge in life, but it is more than worth the effort.
Pursuing Perfection reveals raw and sometimes brutal self honesty, it also reveals potential and opportunity, it is scary and liberating, sometimes at the same time!
Just a quick acknowledgement of thanks to the B.E.N Group who have looked after Claire and I with their generous professional support in getting the Village Hub and Magazine off the ground.
See their final 2018

PIE FACE NICHOLSON
Just as well the Village has an excellent Pie shop
This is Renny buried in a pie! Don't you just love those old pics that you hope everyone had forgotten about!
Renny Nicholson is one of those effervescent characters who seem to effortlessly charm and pump up the Village Vibe. Renny has had a bit of a tough year this year and no I am not referring to a husband who simply won't do as he is told on command, nor the sad passing of the very sexy "Jack Nicholson" Jack by name Jack by Russell - a cute little bugger who loved the Village as much as anyone else - Jack was just too old and needed to move on to "Doggy Heaven" Ren just a quick acknowledgement - You inspire - keep doing it, just please make sure there are some pies left over for the rest of us!
|
|
Ren writes Children's books "Renzi Vorsa Children's Picture Books" of which she produces and distributes all at her own cost and directs the profits to the Leukaemia Foundation.
Ren also organises a yearly Morning Tea Event that numbers into the hundreds these days where she also injects high charisma into this very popular fundraising event. - I recommend you hit this link and watch her dance for a buck!

Breakfast on Tedder and French toast to live for!
Pain perdu au levain et au four à la vanille française. Servi avec glace à la vanille et à l'érable. Ajouter la banane et la fraise
Did you know ?
Drop the "H" it's Ammish (pictured above far left) and Francis (far right) keeping a close eye on my French toast!
This is as French as it gets in the Village
French Vanilla Infused Baked Sourdough French Toast.
Served with Vanilla Ice cream and Maple.
Add Banana and Strawberry.
Hmmmm...I think I should insert a 5 km run before I am seduced into the French foodie heaven!
The whole Le Jardin experience is really set off with their leafy relaxed courtyard, a great stage for a French breakfast. Francis and Ammish are both very engaging personalities and really add to this special relaxing ambience.

Teasing out new Ideas
Have you noticed?
Biz in the Village making a come back, and the trend is to a much higher quality engagement - it's great to see, so le'ts all jump on and support the trend.
Tedder Avenue and the Village that surrounds it is so central for a Co-Work Share space environment. We have the cafes restaurants, heaps of unused parking and we have the vital transport links via the Light Rails, buses bikes and more.
Work Central ~ Play Central ~ Entertain Central - Meet Me on Tedder!
Here is what I do, maybe you can do the same?
Over the past few months I have arranged most of my meetings to take place somewhere on Tedder Avenue - the result of this simple strategy has seen new enquiry by Doctors, lawyers, accountants and tech entrepreneurs to relocate to the Village.
I have begun building out The BIZ Villager Page to centralise information and resources in the Village that support existing and new Business, so keep a eye on it as it evolves.

How was Tedder Avenue born?
The construction of the Sundale Bridge and the deviation of highway to the west of Main Beach in the late 1960s was preceded in the 1950s by early reclamation of the Nerang River to the west of the earlier subdivision and the area centred on Tedder Avenue dates only from that time. A different subdivision pattern in that portion of Main Beach is the result. Similarly the land to the north of the early subdivision - the sand spit that formed one bank of the bar - was only recently developed. Until the 1870s and 1880s the only activity in this area was limited to facilities associated with the Southport Yacht Club and other maritime activities.

It's Christmas Real and Raw
The good stuff is almost always born out of the bad stuff, don’t ever forget that! The Greater the good stuff the greater the necessity must have been!
Do not let blame steal your opportunities.
Blame and Fame are the same game with different attitudes.
