Southport Surf Lifesaving Club

The Southport Surf Lifesaving Club in Main Beach originated in 1924 and the Surf Life Saving club has become a world champion in competition.

The Southport Surf Lifesaving Club is made up of our Supporters Club and our Surf Lifesaving Club.

We pride ourselves on keeping our beaches safe, providing training and excellent support for our patrolling members and we are an award winning Restaurant and Bar boasting some of the best views on the coast.  Our Supporter’s Club is a huge favourite amongst Gold Coast locals and visitors alike, boasting over 20,000 members.

Here at the Southport Surf Club we aim to provide our members and guests quality and efficient service in a warm and friendly atmosphere.  Our restaurant and function rooms overlook Main Beach and we provide a diverse menu and drink selection.  Our restaurant, bar and function areas are right on the beach and offer some of the best views and facilities on the Gold Coast.  With multiple function rooms available at two different locations, including our iconic Main Beach Pavilion and Southport Surf Club, we can cater for any private event large or small. Intimate Weddings, Birthdays, Cocktail Parties, Business Meetings and Corporate Events.
