Living in Main Beach makes us feel like we are on holiday. With the beach so close and the relaxed village vibe, it’s the best place to live.There is always something happening. Last night I went to the preview of Blanc de Blanc encore in the Spiegeltent in the Broadwater Parklands. It’s a great setup and well worth the visit. Tickets are available from Eventbrite. As it’s a licensed venue, and a bit risque over 18’s only.

The Gold Coast Marathon is on July 2-3. It’s a fantastic event that caters to all runners and ages. If running isn’t for you, cheering on the runners as they make their way through Main Beach can make a big difference to the runners. Fisocrem GC30 Run is on May 29 and can be a warm-up for the Gold Coast Marathon. It starts at Doug Jennings Park.

The Fish Grotto in Tedder Ave has reopened and added some Vietnamese dishes to the menu. I tried the Rice Paper rolls and wasn’t disappointed. Give it a go!

Mother Nature isn’t our friend at the moment, so instead of enjoying our beaches, Marina Mirage and Tedder Ave tick all boxes. The combination of Retail Therapy and Hospitality never disappoints. Holiday Boutique at Marina Mirage and Omeros Brothers are personal favourites.
