Hi, my name is Graham and I am a fellow Villager here in Main Beach. I thought I would just share a few words and introduce myself.

I retired from business life in June 2000, having had my own construction and engineering company in Melbourne for 23 years, and moved to the Gold Coast in the same year.
I’ve always enjoyed the artworks before I left school, and other than “doodling” I have had no tutoring until this year. During recent times I became more enthused to put pen, pencil, brush to paper and enjoyed the experience, but needed help to move forward to make any meaningful progress with my art.

I have now had 2 lessons (2 each week) and feel that I can move forward to progress to a reasonable level, and enjoy many hours at the drawing board.
Our family members, particularly the grandchildren, have commandeered a number of my works and I do enjoy seeing my art pieces hanging in their respective homes.

My other passion is road cycling, conditions permitting, I do between 100 to 120kms per week. Keeping active physically and mentally and general wellbeing is important in our lives, and especially to enjoy and want to do it, no matter what level.
