You could say that this latest masterpiece of wordology is our Villager launch special into a weekend of tourism innovation, a 3-day festival of world-class aerobatics and maneuvers in the planet’s most hi-tech aircraft flown by the world’s greatest pilots, including the Gold Coast’s own pilot extraordinaire, Hayden Pullen.

Ever thought your airline experience was a bit too ordinary? Well, Peter Hanke, a local villager with a knack for the unique, has penned a tale that’ll make you chuckle, squirm, and maybe even think twice about pressing unfamiliar buttons.

Meet Richard Bradman, a business class connoisseur, who finds himself on an airline like no other. METOO is the airline’s name, but it ain’t about empowerment; it’s about luxury, comfort, and, uh, some very specific conveniences. Things get really interesting when Richard explores the ladies’ side of things.

Dive in and discover what METOO is all about. Warning: you might just get a kick out of the unexpected twists, and believe me, it’s a flight like no other.

Meet Peter Handke

Recently I had a chat with Peter Handke a Main Beach Villager who writes short stories, in fact, he has already authored 4 books each containing 36 short stories.
They are so very simple to read and not what I expected, lets’s just say certainly they leave you with a smile and a chuckle at the end of each story.

I asked Peter if we could expose our fellow Villagers to one story a week for the next 4 weeks on a Friday afternoon. The first story was posted on the Village Facebook Group last Friday here is the pdf link  (3.5 min read)

Peter was born, raised, and educated in Germany. His great dream from his love for animals was to become a Veterinarian, but despite his enthusiastic study in this field, his life took another path.

Through unforeseen circumstances, he entered very successfully into the commercial world. The company he joined had global ambitions, and he was offered to go to Australia to set up and launch their products there. So following a crash course in English, he was soon on his way to the land down under.

In only a few years the product brand became number one for luxury home appliances. Peter and Australia were falling in love with each other’s company and so it became – Peter and Australia made the big decision to get hitched – Peter was now an Australian citizen.

Ok so that was a few years back on the calendar and we now have to fast forward …. Peter is now retired, he enjoys living on the Gold Coast, but is never idle, so he decided to begin writing happy uplifting stories to give people something positive, and fun to counter the drab daily news.

So there you have it, a little background to a fellow Villager and Author. Like a rainbow, our Village Vibe is made up of many vibrant layers –
