As part of our transitioning from the Tedder Village name to “Destination Main Beach” I’ve upgraded the selection of restaurants in the Tedder Village precinct of Main Beach. The Village section of Tedder Avenue is a very convenient enclave of international cuisines, that is just so easy to access with many rolling off the beach for an early evening drink as the sun sets followed by a casual dining experience in what is a very genuine friendly village atmosphere. I know Claire and I do this a lot!

As the night takes over and I head home to get an early night  – yes the curse of a 5am start cycling or running into the sunrise, we are overtaken by the influxes of later diners looking for a cosy spot in the avenue.

I can only speak for why Claire and I (and friends) love this spot so much – Main Beach and Tedder Avenue has an amazing fusion of local Villagers, international and Regional visitors, Active Lifestylers and business people. We all seem to collide and merge, creating a new fusion and aura like nowhere else on the Goldie -you get that nice “Cheers bar feeling” where everyone knows your name and you get all those really interesting people who have just discovered Main Beach for the first time  – it’s like ‘WOW how come we never knew this place existed’.

Take a look at the updated list below and when you get the chance jump on the opportunity to experience Main Beach and it’s Villager styled enclave – Tedder Avenue.

I would also like to highlight the 7th – 8th of September, we have the Main Beach Spring Flower Festival in Tedder Avenue for the first time, so make sure you book ahead – it will be a great weekend  – no hype – no bull it will be good.

I have dropped in the Spring Flower festival raffle – not too shabby in the prize department – $50 for the opportunity of a genuine European Cruise, with only 999 tickets in this draw, it certainly makes the odds look attractive.

Look forward to seeing you out there !
